LETS REST THIS KESHI VS YOBO CASE
Posted on 20:31 by Unknown
I have been following this with keen interest for sometime now..the issue between Stephen keshi and his captain Joseph Yobo and i feel its time to soft pedal on the amount of publicity and negative criticism we give to this father and son like matter. This is because Joseph yobo has a long history in the national team as well as Stephen keshi, hence the need to allow the two resolve this between themselves without the national team suffering for it.
Prior to the finals of the nations cup in south Africa many nigerians praised the courage of the big boss for sticking to keneth Omerua as the preferred choice in central defence and indirectly bid Yobo goodbye from the starting line up and super eagles. So if Stephen keshi was avoiding a telephone quarell between him and Yobo which led to him not giving yobo a call to explain his exclusion from the kenya game going by what broke out between the both of them in south africa, then i think yobo should try and understand.
At least I am very sure that stephen keshi is not dropping him from his plans but also indirectly telling him to give his club career more time as his age right now cannot guarantee him regular playing time with the super eagles. No coach is perfect. So lets give keshi a chance to take Our football forward.
Yours...Ene Victor kenvista
