RASHIDI YEKINI WAS KILLED BY HIS FAMILY--LAWYER

The lawyer to the late rashidi yekini, the first man to ever score a goal for Nigeria at the fifa senior world cup,said rashidi was killed by his family members  spearheaded by the mother.Barrister Olarewaju in company of rashidi yekinis daughter Omoyemi, spoke on top sports,a sports programme on Top Radio 90.9 fm lagos this morning,



that the family members in company of two men came to his apartment early last year,hit him with a mysterious object on his head and took him to a herbalist home where he was chained for three weeks before he died.

The lawyer affirmed that the late rashidi yekini never had any mental problem,that he was just a gentle man that wanted to live a decent life,protect his name and stay a law abiding Nigeria.A book has been written by barrister olarewaju who served as his lawyer all through his later life in honour of the late super eagles star.
