Following a two-hour flight from Kuala Lumpur, the Chelsea squad landed at lunchtime on Tuesday ahead of the club's first ever game in Indonesia. Incredible scenes greeted the players and management.
Several hundred fans were on the tarmac at the Halim International airport to cheer the touring party off the plane and as soon as the coach went through the perimeter gates, there were thousands lining the street for the first mile of the journey.
Blue-shirted fans on mopeds maintained the welcoming committee all the way to the hotel, following alongside the coach into the centre of the city.
